Job title: Web Developer

Positioning in the company: Under the supervision of the R&D Manager

Context

The company ROAV7 looking to recruit a web developer, who will be part of a project team to carry out the development of a customer-oriented website. His main task in the team is to draw inspiration from the existing platform to integrate its redesign into the web platform to be developed.

With a presence of more than 5 years in Congo and Angola, ROAV7 targets customers and partnerships in producing countries from the Gulf of Guinea to South Africa, and in Northern Europe. You will work directly within the R&D team and will have decidedly varied resources and responsibilities to participate in the development of the startup.

Missions and responsibilities

Priority tasks

● Definition of functional and technical specifications and specifications;

● Technological monitoring of competing solutions

● Benchmark to find a back-end solution compatible with already existing functionalities;

● Preparation of development: creation of the graphic charter, site models, class diagram, conceptual and logical data model, etc.;

● Implementation of the solution for the data types defined in the specifications;

● Added the solution to the main site

● Fixed bugs on already existing functionalities if taken from the example site;

Secondary tasks

● Ensure compliance with the GDPR;

● Code review of features or bug fixes carried out by other collaborators.

Exercise conditions

Working condition:

● Team work at times defined by the employment contract;

● Face-to-face work at the company's head office;

● Belonging to the R&D department;

● Provision of a laptop computer.

Skills required:

● Bac +3 and above , license, BUT, master's course or computer engineering cycle oriented to web development ;

SQL databases ;

● Experience in web development ( Javascript and/or Typescript, HTML and CSS ) with React and Node.js ;

● The following knowledge is appreciated:

○ PHP with the Symfony ;

○ Know the basics of using and viewing 3D scenes with JavaScript;

○ set up APIs and use them;

○ GDPR .

● Ability to adapt, be autonomous and use new tools;

● Curious about new cultures, new technologies and strength of proposal;

● Knowledge of collaborative tools, Git, Slack and Google Drive would be appreciated.
