Job title: Cybersecurity engineer

Positioning in the company: Under the supervision of the R&D Manager

Context

The company ROAV7 looking to recruit a backend development engineer, possessing skills in web development and in network architecture, who will be part of a project team to carry out the development of a customer-oriented website. Its main task will be to architect the site, structure the different pages by securing access and set up the file management architecture.

With a presence of more than 5 years in Congo and Angola, ROAV7 targets customers and partnerships in producing countries from the Gulf of Guinea to South Africa, and in Northern Europe. You will work directly within the R&D team and will have decidedly varied resources and responsibilities to participate in the development of the startup.

Missions and responsibilities

Priority tasks

● Definition of functional and technical specifications and specifications;

● Technological monitoring on the choice of server and data hosting solutions allowing their visualization;

● Preparation of development: creation of the graphic charter, site models, class diagram, conceptual and logical data model, etc.;

● Implementation of the website pages, the links between them and allowing simple addition of additional bricks;

● Development of the product architecture

● Site security: access segregation, data security, server security.

Secondary tasks

● Ensure compliance with the GDPR;

● Identification of the characteristics of the site to be implemented to comply with the ISO 27 001 standard;

● Maintenance of the deployment server;

● Implementation of CI/CD system for development;

● Code review of features or bug fixes carried out by other collaborators.

Exercise conditions

Working condition:

● Team work at times defined by the employment contract;

● Face-to-face work at the company's head office;

● Belonging to the R&D department;

● Provision of a laptop computer.

Skills required:

● Bac +3 and above , diploma in computer science oriented to web development ;

● Knowledge and ability to set up APIs and use them ;

SQL databases ;

● Experience in web development ( Javascript and/or Typescript, HTML and CSS ) with React and Node.js ;

● Knowledge of cybersecurity, network architecture and remote server management will be a plus for the application

● Knowledge of the ISO 27 001 standard and GDPR regulations is appreciated;

● Ability to adapt, be autonomous and use new tools;

● Curious about new cultures, new technologies and strength of proposal;

● Knowledge of collaborative tools, Git, Slack and Google Drive would be appreciated.
